Samsung announced the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge at its unpacked event held in Barcelona Spain. The unpacked event took place at Mobile World Congress, 2016. The leaks, rumours and speculations tried their best to kill the surprise about these devices, but Samsung’s announcement today has still got us all excited.

Just a few hours ago LG released its G5 with some enchanting features. LG managed to put forward a completely unique smartphone which we expect to give its competitors a really tough time. Now that the Galaxy S7 is out as well, both these smartphones are all set in front of each other with their unique offerings. The Galaxy S7 follows Samsung’s past flagship footsteps.

At the unpacked event today, Samsung’s mobile chief DJ Koh took the stage to introduce the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge to theworld. The Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge both carry the same design language, build and material (i.e. glass-and-matte-metal) as same as that of the the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy Note 5. Galaxy S7 has a 5.2-inch display and is same as that of the Galaxy S6 with a back resembling the back of the Galaxy Note 5. The Galaxy S7 Edge has a 5.5-inch display and has a flat back. Samsung has equipped this device with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 CPU and also its Exynos 8890 CPU. Both these phones are equipped with a 4 GB RAM.
