Next version of Apple Watch coming in March

Is it time for a new version of the Apple Watch?
According to the very reliable 9to5Mac, Apple will host an event in March where it will reveal the second-generation model of the Apple Watch, which launched last spring.

It's not clear what new features this version of the Apple Watch will include, but the report says Apple has been working on perks such as sleep tracking, health sensor features and a camera.

Apple may also use the March event to unveil a smaller iPhone, boasting a 4-inch screen. The iPhone 6S and 6S Plus -- launched in September -- feature touchscreens measuring 4.7 inches and 5.5 inches respectively. The model would likely be named the iPhone 6c.

Although Apple Watch has been available less than a year, it's vaulted Apple to the second biggest wearable vendor based on market share, according to IDC. During the third quarter, Apple shipped 3.9 million wearables for an 18.6% market share based on worldwide wearable shipments. Fitness tracker maker Fitbit is first at 22.2%.
